VIRAL VIDEO- In western Maharashtra’s Sangli district, an unidentified man stole a JCB machine and used it to remove and take away an ATM. The incident took place on the intervening night of April 22 and 23 at the ATM centre of a private sector bank in Agar village of Miraj tehsil, an official said. A CCTV footage of the ATM centre went viral on social media, in which a JCB is seen withdrawing the cash machine.
The crime was recorded in the CCTV fitted inside the ATM kiosk. The video shows a sudden bulldozer arm smashing through the door of the kiosk before it started coming down hard on the machine.

The local Police Station said that an unidentified person stole the JCB machine and used it to divert the ATM from the bank’s ATM centre.
The man later left the ATM and JCB machine in a nearby area out of fear, the official said. During the inspection, cash worth Rs 27 lakh was found inside the ATM. However, the ATM centre and the machine have suffered a loss of Rs 4 lakh due to the theft attempt.
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and checking the CCTV footage of the ATM centre and the area from where the JCB was stolen.
